Hi
i am just about to get a new leisure battery, split charger, and hopefully a fridge, how does the setup work, does the fridge work on 12v when you are moving, and change to gas when you stop, does the leisure battery automatically kick in when you turn off the ignition, there is a split relay there already, which seems to switch with the ignition, and i have a zig unit in the van with van, car and off switch, pump, lights and aux, any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks Dave.
fridge,split chargers information please

It might be wired to feed the fridge 12 volts whilst the engine is running but it certainly doesn't automatically switch to gas once stopped, this is a manual setup so you need to remember each time you stop for more than say 30 minutes, to manually turn the fridge on to gas which (depending on the fridge type) means using the ignighter and holding in a button, then checking to see if a flame is viewable through an inspection port (inside the fridge usually at the bottom)
Once you start driving again swap back onto the 12 volt setting.
Always use the gas or mains when static.

Is this a factory conversion or DIY?
