Only one I can remember using is the campsite at Llanthony Priory - it was very basic but set in a lovely location.

Im in Abergavenny, the Llanthony one is ok ish, beautiful area with loads of history, no electric or toilets unless you use the public ones just inside the priory carpark.
this one is nice, in the grounds of a nice country pub about 4 miles out of town on the Hereford road.
this one also nice 3 miles out of town towards crickhowell, no pubs to walk to though.
If you want wild camping let me know i know loads of spots.
