Very nice Miles.

I worked in both Hamburg and Flensburg about 10 years ago and got to know the area a little. I was working in the Flensburg shipyard. You might have noticed it at the seaward end of the town. I remember a bar/ restaurant along the seafront with a deepsea diving suit standing outside on the pavement and there was an Irish bar close by which I deliberately avoided.

I look forward to the rest...

Hope you are both well.

Frank.
Tomorrow never comes. Be happy today.

Ah, good to e-see you again, Frank. We're fine, thank you.

I did like Flensburg very much - I found it an enormous relief to be in a part of Germany that didn't feel as if it was! I didn't notice the places you mention - we stayed up at the touristy end of the harbour. Which reminds me, have you read "To The Baltic With Bob"? Very entertaining and well written.

We might've dived into Hamburg, but I've never yet got around to acquiring an Umwelt Plakette.

I'd meant to say that I suggest you look for the

“Slideshow” symbol (towards the top right),
Click it, then
Key “F11” (for a full screen view), then
Click the Pause symbol (bottom left), then
Click “Show info” (top right) then
Move forward using the “Next” button (top centre).

I hope this helps.
