pipe flares which one?

I can do female, male or double, which one do I use for the clutch and brake lines?

I find it easiest to copy the flare that is taken off, then you won't get it wrong.
Replace the pipes one at a time ie...don't rip them all out and then try to remember what went where.

thanks for that, makes sense, I punched out the remains of the old tube from the front union and I guess its on the floor of the shed, somewhere.... The one to the old slave would be the same I guess I'll take a look at that one

I'm pretty sure most are single (domed) type flares....and the unions are the slightly longer males.
