just to keep all up to speed, fitted the gtd engine, sorted the niggly problems, then baptism of fire to Bugjam, drove from Stirling to
Buxton, Buxton to the Pod, camped overnight, back to Buxton, then got as far as Penrith, ironically bang on 600 miles.it was firing on 3 cylinders and a knocking noise from the top end. havent even looked at it yet, but it sounds like valve/tappet so this afternoon rocker off and a looksie.

Hi Pete,
Worth checking the injectors as well, as if one goes down would sound and feel like a valve or tappet failing. We have some new ones on the shelf if you need any. It`s a good engine and worth spending some time on it to get it back up and running.
