I wander if theres a practical solution to adapt a Quechua Base second or XL pop up tent to fix to the van gutter to make a driveaway awning?
Just a thought!

I'd have thought you could just position the van so one of the canopy things was against the gutter / roof.......does it really have to be a proper fitting as long as it keeps the rain out?

I have the one with 2 doors, base second I think. I prefrer to pitch it away from the sliding door. However, if I'm feeling less sociable the flap bit lines up pretty well with the door. Not perfect in torrential rain, but good enough most of the time.

we have base seconds too..was only £40 on an offer...almost joins on, well worth the money - slept in it a couple of times in Skye in rain and wind...its an experience, but did the job!
