Holiday's tomorrow!

Post by lloydy »

Two weeks in the van, two adults, two kids. First week wild camping in wales, got some lovely spots thanks to jed and tom and found a lovely place near ystradfellte, right up in the hills. Treating myself to a new fiamma f35 awning whilst i'm near fiammastore
Second week is the lake district, was going to do a couple NT campsites, but they want £61 for two nights  so could be wildcamping again. Got a feeling it's going to be the best holiday yet.......

I'm so jealous!!!

Our last holiday was our best and that was Wales. I think it was because we really took our time and didn't try to go to all places we wanted to go to.

Enjoy!! :ok

Should be great, I'm also trying out a camera my dads given me. Shape and size of a bullet and HD quality, just going to stick it on the dash and record the journey

Probably too late with this reply but I've just come back from the Lakes and I stayed at Hollow's Farm, an NT site at Grange in Borrowdale, for £6 per person per night with free showers.

Did you drag the tribe up to the falls and walk behind the cascade? Well worth it and the water is quite clean enough to drink (unless there's a total drought)
