Looking for a minty Syncro Camper pref with Air Con

Post by mastersdom »

The beaches around here don't like 2wd so I am looking for a minty low mileage Syncro camper. Air con preferred although I can retrofit it myself if I have to.

I doubt one will come up that I would be happy with. Would have to be very low mileage. Max 50K miles. Will keep looking on mobile.de... no fixed spending limit.

Yep she's gone. What a van! I wish I'd had the guts to change the interior but I couldn't do it. If you see another let me know.

We've probably all got a price in mind that we would let our vans go for. Start offering money for the ones you like. 15K might get my attention..........a bit more might make me listen
I think your dreaming, if your looking for under 50K mileage. Most of these vans have new engines/boxes/running gear anyway

Never seen one in my time to be honest but you can almost guarantee there will be no ecu's or complicated electronics.

I imagine they are Billy basic underneath so easy to maintain.

I'm not to sure how readily available parts would be either.
Going back onto the Pinz that's my opinion I'm sure there will be someone along with different opinions

Have a shuftie on the net for 'Panther' then add Iveco, British army , stuff like that. Aesthetically very similar but obviously 20 yrs difference. Saw a few towing RIBs in Dorset so cant be all that bad

Pinz? Bad? Phil - hush your mouth!!!

i guess im telling you how to suck eggs but i guess it has to tick your 'fit for purpose' boxes. Is it for a specific task or just you want something different just for a change?

Have a shuftie at Volvo 303s - portal axles and lockers. Cant say i know much about the engines but as i understand it the Volvo 'red blocks' are quite interchangeable across the range and i *think* bellhousings are same so a massive choice of 4 or 5 cylinder petrol/Tds etc etc if they are.

If its just for hooning about offroad and nothing else how about something like a supercat- (VW 1.9 derv aswell) or a Hagglund BV ?

End of day, as above , its what boxes you need/want to tick.
