i just went to my local Auto shop and bought a standard metre length of fuel pipe... think it cost about £3.99.. cut it to the right length and fitted it.. my original one had perished...

you should be able to get it at any garage/auto parts shop..
:ok

At the risk of being an anorak. Fuel hose isn't really the right thing to use for hot water. Nitrile rubber ages quickly at high temperatures, dries out and eventually cracks. You really want a hose with an EPDM liner or a silicone hose.
2ltr Aircooled CU with twin Solex's & originally a 009 dizzie, but now back to standard.

corzan or ABS i think but check the specs there may be a cheaper alternative. Plenty of option that are chemical resistant and will cope with correct pressure and temp.

Much better replacement for under car water pipes. - In fact you can get nearly everything off that site.

Cheers
