i read some where that a 16inch sigle cab was one of the rearest production vws. think the total production was in the late teens. with that rear window it has to be even rarer.

looks like a good buy on the face og the add

plenty of sinca syncros, but not o lot of 16" ones.
the square window at the back looks to me like a custom doorway for a demountable like a tischer.
that might also explain why the dropsides are a slightly different colour.
lovely looking truck that.

Not very Syncro ...... but this one is.

Id say that rear window is a conversion to take a camper body or something

That green one looks smart...
Except the new upholstery??!
What were they thinking.
That makes the standard trim look quite sophisticated.

What's the army tailgate difference? What are the mirror things on the tailgate for?

not mirrors they are windows so the taillights are visible with the tailgate down, so your troops can deploy quickly out of the back or long loads be carried, probably only safe in convoy situation and I doubt plod would be happy if you used them over here except in an emergency, but if you had to work on the engine through the hatch in a roadside situation at night it would be good

Hi,

The singlecab 16" is rarest of all I guess , about 33 build.
Not sure but this one is probaly originaly from Sweden, looking at he headlight washers and the typical Swedish towbar.

Liking singles but can't justify a 2 seater. Shame about the big hole hacked in the back.
