headlights

Post by billybigspud »

help!!!
my headlights have packed up, i have side lights and full beam. there is no power at either plug, the earth is good as i have belled it between the wire and the body. i have looked at the haynes book of lies wiring diagram ( very confusing indeed ) and looks like it doesn't go via a relay so hoping it is just a kaput switch. does anyone know the colour of the wire that feeds them from the switch and where it splits or is there two coming away from it?

cheers

i presume you have checked the dipped beam fuse?
if you have main beam it could be the dip/main switch but doubt its the headlight switch.

how long have you had the van, it could have had a realy mod done by Prev Owner?
