Just checked out a whole load of lanes around Bampton, enroute to Tarr Steps. (suitable for syncro, and very scenic) some challenging.

Saw Paul the icecream seller at Tarr Steps, he remembers the syncros from last year and says you can park on the road by the fjord if one of you buys an icecream.

Also checked out a lane from Lynton onto the Moor, about the only legal route onto Exmoor now, a dead end lane but worth doing. Two lanes in the valleys out of Lynmouth not suitable for 4 wheels. (very pretty lanes though)

Shame I cant be there.

For anyone thinking of joining us, just turn up anytime this week at the Postwood Gardens campsite, nr Kentisbeare. To find this take the A373 (the Honiton road) from Cullompton and turn left at the third turning (Post Cross - signposted to Kentisbeare) and then look for a gate on the right hand side of the road (set back so easy to miss). If you go past the cricket ground then you have gone too far. Postcode: EX15 2BS

If only I could, but once again domestic events conspire to occupy my spare time....

In fact, looking at the possible dates the only event I may be able to make is over the Bank Holiday - and even that is no better than 50/50.

Next year however.....

Me too. Our new arrival is looking imminent so we are unable to venture too far from home!

We spent last night on Salisbury Plain. We had fresh Salisbury rabbit for dinner.

Had a chance to really try out memory map too. Very impressed, what a fantastic addition to a Syncro. :ok
