Not posted anything on my Syncro for a long while.
Finally fitted my diff locks and engine and prop protection.
Before I went on the Coast to Coast run.
Me in the Line of Syncro's ready to set off from west coast.
On the 2nd day and we have lost quite a few vehicles by now.
Camping on the Sunday night and down to 4 vehicles

I have in the last few days fitted some of MG's ex AA springs to the rear of my van.
The existing springs had broken pigtails, so I thought I would try these as an alternative.
ex AA spring in blue next to broken Syncro spring
Spring in place, it was quite tricky to get on without spring compressors and on my own. Left a 20mm spacer on Brickyard westy anti lean spacer.
This proved to be an error.
Spring on and vehicle back on its wheels

Plenty of ground clearance 330mm to engine protection bar.
Measurements from centre of hub to Wheel arch 529mm nearside 533mm offside
centre of hub to seam above wheel arch 580mm
Think its too high, 20mm spacer will have to come out.
The shocks are toping out only about 20mm of travel left from rest, could fit some Futbus shock extensions.
Thing it is too high though and may dmage cv joints and wear out cv boots quickly.

Taken 20mm spacers out at the back, looks better and no topping out of shocks.

Springs ride really well, off to France soon so will see how it copes with a load.

Fitted a new OMVL R90E regulator / vaporisor to my LPG system as used by Gasure.
Set it up using my Inovate LM1 wide band sensor.
Readings I got.
Uphill full throttle under load 15.0 - 1
1/2 throttle 15.9 - 1
gentle throttle 17.0 - 1
Idle 18.0 - 1
LPG ideal is 15.5 - 1
higher figure is leaner slightly better economy
lower figure richer slightly better power.
What does any one think.
Is this a good compromise.

Those figures look good to me, but it's all in the driving which I guess is OK i.e. idle is stable, picks up ok and doesn't feel "flat" in the mid-range?
