I've just bought my first T25 - a 1986 Autosleeper Trooper and I love it! As a retired tent camper I really don't want to hook up if at all possible but I'm not sure how safe the fridge is. There's a big gap underneath it where the fumes could blow back in the van so I think at the very least I need to seal that. Is there somewhere in South-west London that could do a gas check etc on it?
Any other tips for a first timer would be very useful!
Thanks
Gillski

Re: Fridge
The gap is there deliberately. It's in case you have a gas leak and as the gas is heavier than air it will drop out the floor rather than build up behind the fridge.
The exhaust is vented outside via the smaller of the vents under the driver's side 'kitchen' window so won't blow back in.
as for tips - read the wiki and have a browse through the forums; do a 'Search' if you have a specific subject matter

Re: Fridge
quite correct.
It was Autosleepers way of not adding a second vent in the panel under the top one,
you'll find a vent hole in your cupboard next to the rear seat where the gas is kept too.
