water top up behind number plate

Hi - I have a water cooled westfalia joker 1.9 petrol.

Seems I have over filled the small water tank behind the number plate - gone over the max mark.

Does anyone know how to empty it?

Any help would be great!

Syphon it?
Short length of hose, one end in tank, hold other end lower than the tank. If your lucky water will start syphoning out naturally, otherwise give the hose a suck. Or stick the end of a t towel in tank so it's in water and let rest of towel hang over bumper. The water will creep up towel and drip off end

As the fller cap is only just above the max mark I can't see one or two centimeters over being a problem....there is still plenty of room for expansion.

its got three vent holes in the top anyway,
so if it needs to it will sort its own level as and when.
