Water Tank info

Post by norfolkbcs »

Hi - I now these will be very basic questions, but I am new to this (having really only camped before) so please forgive my naivety.

1. Should I clean the tank in some way before I use the water? Or should I avoid using the water for food/drink use completely? If it should be cleaned is there chemicals/solutions to do this?

2. Filling the tank - do campsites tend to have a hose to fill the tank or is there some other magic method by which I do this?

 thank you in embarrassment!!

Use Purikleen to wash out your tank, tap and hose system. Once clean make sure you keep water in the tank so it doesn't go green.

Some campsites have hoses ... like most people I know I prefer to use their own, you never know what other peeps have used the site one for.
