Post by 1_eyed_jim »

Right so heres my storey....

HAD the following lights NOT working

Nearside tail light
Nearside front side light
Offside fog light

Replaced the bulbs and now i have the following NOT working..

nearside tail light
nearside front side light
offside fog light
nearside front main beam
offside front main beam
offside front high beam

1986 DG Petrol

Any help would be helpful. I have a multimeter if that could help trace the fault.

Thanks

Ok will try that tomorrow. Just typical that a simple job turns into a nightmare!

Does anyone know how to test and trace faults on a multimeter?

They all seem to have return to life today??? Accept for the nearside tail light. It is also a new cluster so thinking there might be a wire contact to the cluster rusted or broken?
