Not a huge issue (I hope) as the van passed but I noticed this on the bottom of the result sheet;
Notes:-
Engine oil temperature - Coolant pipes hot.
The mechanic didn't mention any problem when i picked it up, so is it something I should worry about? (I haven't a clue what it means).

This statement is a note to himself and the customer that the test was correctly done with both coolant and oil up to running temperature.
Engine emmisions would be higher if the test were to be carried out cold or only part warm, engines basically are designed to work best at running temperature, somewhere in the region of 85 and 95C.....HOT! lol but perfectly normal.
Note*
What a lot of people don't realise is the coolant gets up to normal temperature position very quickly but the oil takes much longer as it needs to be worked (under load). Often the MOT tester will stand there for several minutes reving the engine to get heat into the oil before taking the emmision readings (temp probe deployed down the dipstick tube), it has to read 80C+ before he presses the 'record' button on the machine tester.
