Had a bit of a rummage in the back of the garage...

I needed to adjust a little bracket before I do a spot of heat-gun forming over it, to tidy up the electric power steering install which never really got finished off properly. The van's in for MOT asap so I reckoned if it's nice and tidy there's less to alert them eh?
Had a bit of a think for 5 but I didn't fancy MIG-ing it, as then I'd have to dress it all back and it's just a load more faffing about so...
I dug my way to the back and uncovered an old friend:

They don't make 'em like this anymore! Lovely tidy spot welds:

Heat gun tomorrow!

Yeah they were a bit out of line too, they only got a quick rub with some scotchbrite but job done now!

It'll weld up to about 2 x 2mm I think. The control panel is bilingual English/German, ARO brand (maybe they were the distributor in the UK?)
