choke idle speed

Post by rallyraid »

Havent looked at my carbs yet, but planning to in the morning, so just wanted a head start.

tickover when started from cold when the chokes are on seems way fast, about 2300rpm !! Is this too fast ?

Is there a simple adjustment for this, or is it more complex?

idle speed when warm is fine, around 900rpm.

Its 2.0 Aircooled CU.

Carbs have been refurbed earlier this year so should be all good.

Thanks in advance.
