I have a 1989 T25 panel van, it is a bit dark in the back so i would like a window in the tailgate is it possible to cut out and fit glass or will i have to buy a whole new tailgate??

i think the answer is yes. BUT window tailgates are less rare than yours. so check that you cant do a swap with someone who needs a solid tailgate. 2 folks end up getting what they want then.

My god dont cut that rare as hens teeth solid door !!! they fetch £200 easy if in good rust free condition! took me nearly year to find one for sale!

glad I read this as I have a solid tailgate in my garage which was going to scrap. I took it off my panel van as it was a bit rusty at the bottom and need more light.

Oh a rusty one? rusty at the bottom , sorry not the same but dont scap it as Im a glutton for punishment and could do with one so my dog dont get the sun on him I would be happy,well happyish to buy it off you,

ok, ok, ok I'll take the bait :wink:

should have been more specific :roll: - the tailgate I have is one from a commercial van (solid panel where there is glass on the non-commercial vans). The tailgate has rust on the inner lower section but not too bad and some very minor rust spots on the outside panel.

Seen as how you are all being soooooooooooooo cruel to my tailgate i'm going to keep it :lol: :lol:
