Hi all,
I have a 86 T25 Transporter called Bel that I'm about to convert into a camper.
Is it possible to fit factory windows from a Caravelle into a panel van ( if i cut the right holes!). I have read alot about people fitting new windows into a panel van but not form another van. Is there anything i'm missing or has anyone had any experiance with trying this?
many thanks
Simon

Simon
most uk campers were built on panel van shells and autohomes for one used factory glass when they cut the holes and fitted windows so yes you can use 'velle glass as long as your apertures are the correct size
it is possible to cut the metal out of a caravelle and weld it into a panel van to give you the proper recessed windows and allow use of the caravelle seals but that's a heck of a lot of work to do well
Metal Mickey has the best source of panel van window seals
