Hi all,
the sliding door runner guide on my camper has developed holes where the sliding door bottom runner , um, runs along it's a few holes and some rather thin metal for a bout 4-5 inches. I have made a repair plate and fixed it in with sikaflex as a temporary repair as i didn't fancy the door getting stuck closed.
I've been looking for a repair panel and found this:
http://www.justkampers.com/shop/t25/ori ... 13498.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
but I can't see how i could weld this in in situ, do I need to get new inner and out sills too and weld them together off the van and then weld back into the van?
Basically I'm after an easyish repair that isn't gonna cost that'll be done properly (yeah I'm dreaming!)
Cheers,
ben
