rear cv joints

Post by lloydy »

During the recent works on the van, i had two rear cv joints replaced because they had some play in them. Would these be good to keep as spare's, to get me out of trouble? Or is it a big no no?

No thanks, got a whole set of new spares. Forgot I'm away for the weekend from Friday, but if your coming that day, the wife will be about. Out of interest was it an inner or outer that was definitely knackered?
Many thanks, Lloyd

Take the boots cuz if they are genuine VW ones they should still have lots of life in them. Many's the new boot that has failed before an old genuine VW one!!
