self bleed wbx ?

Post by Syncrobaz »

I recently flushed the cooling system on my mv and was dreading the "bleeding routine" but noticed a plastic pipe running below the engine cover connected to the cooling system. On refilling I found on tickover I could top up the header tank, sip a beer and let the contraption do the work :D

Does anyone else have this system fitted?

The bleed rind is std fittment.. it does make it easier than the early system, but you must bleed the rad also.. thermostat housing valve must be opened also... :ok

Where do you bleed the rad from. I couldn't see anywhere obvious?

Take the grille off and at the o/s top of the rad undo the bleed bolt with a 13 mm spanner-sorted :ok

Ta mate. Googled it. Would appear it is a common question. Also forgot to make sure the heater was on.
