Levelling blocks.
I've had enough of wedging planks of wood under the wheels and such, so I'm looking to purchase some Fiamma levelling blocks. Thing is, though, they come in quite a variety of sizes. So, which ones do people use/recommend, and why? I'm leaning towards the 'level pro', or maybe the 'magnum', but I'm open to persuasion.

They all do the job but the stepped ones are easier to use.

Easier to use?
You drive your van onto them.

Re: Levelling blocks.
I recently bought a pair of Fiamma 'three tier' caravan ramps from Caravanstuff4u. These should cope with most situations. With p+p they cost about £24.

Saw a caravan down at Gwithian with two under one wheel

Re: Levelling blocks.
Had two under one rear wheel the other week, they are designed to lock together. But I am quite a fusspot when it comes to getting the van level

They show the smaller ones like that in the ads - they lock together, apparently.
So, the small ones are big enough, but the ones with the three 'steps' are easier to use? Does that mean they're easier to adjust to different slopes?

No it is just easier to drive up the steps without the van trying to roll back down again.

Re: Levelling blocks.
I reckon the stepped ones are easier because you can stop with the wheel level. With the slopped ones (what I have) you sometimes miss the 'spot'. But in reality, there is better things to worry about, like, did you series lock homes under the hammer?

Dont!!! we bought some cheapie ones & they bend if you're on soft ground; the cheaper ones are usually shorter in length too so they are more difficult to 'get on to' as you have to make sure that the wheels are right on the edge to feel the benefit which isn't very easy when you're on your own (especially difficult for a dizzy bird).........
........I can still see Timthetrader's face when I covered the front of his van with mud (I was looking at the wheel going onto the chock & didn't realise the other was spinning
