Knocking suspension

Post by anaconda »

The rear passenger side suspension has developed a knocking which occurs when driving but also I can induce it when parked by just pushing the rear bumper corner down. I had the rear tyre changed on this side last week but dont think this is relevant.

Anyone suggest which suspension part is likely cause of problem?

Thanks in advance
John

Broken spring or loose/knackered shock absorber.

Could also be the silencer catching the rear chassis leg ? Knackered engine mount or gearbox nose mount ?
