hi there went today to buy some sae 90 as my manaul says for my diff on an auto box , but my local motor factor says they dont make it any more and have ep 90 gl5 and say its the same one is this true can any body give me some advice thanks shaun :? :? :?

Would have thought you would need aft for an auto box?

Sounds like the oil you have is the modern spec version btw

hi there its got an auto box on the the front section and diff at the back, they are separate one takes atf and diff is sae 90 cheers shaun :ok :ok :ok

ep 90 will be fine. sae is the viscosity "90" ep is high pressure for diffs and boxes.
