Hi dudes well i got my syncro out of the barn she has been lying in wate for 8 years iv only tinkered with her I realy did think the engin was knakered ??? it was over heating blowing white smoke running like a bag of spanners i changed the plugs oil cheked the throtle boddy all the earths the idle valve regulater all to no avail? so nearly gave up the fight and she was destin for the scrap yard  :x :( but then just tried the ecu plug and cleaned all the conectors spayed with wd40 pluged it back in and she ran like a dreem but still overheated so i took the thermostat housing apart and broke off three studds  i maneged to drill out the old broken bits and put bolts all the way threw with nuts and washers :P Overheatin due to stuck thermostat so replaced it and the temp sender :D Prblem solved So i started to think about the mot ???? climed undernethe and found the tank straps broken the front outer cv boots both split and a broken manafold weld  Well i had two diside what to do ???? I got on the net to try and find cv boots but no joy eparently very hard to get ??? then the tank straps bloddy excpencive and no one had them in stock So i became very disheartend :( But me being me disided to make my own straps wich i did with 3mm x 40 steel stappin welding plates on and brakets for the fuel pump them buggers will never rot and fit a dreem then the cv boots i went to my local auto suplies and they just looked at me gon out ??? but i had taken mesurments and bloddy hel we found that honda 4x4 ones are bang on and at a fiver each a bloddy bargain so off i went home with new boots and a tin of greas :P before i started the cv job i got me mig welder out and welded the exhaust crack in situe i did disconect the battery first Then the cv boots well let me tell you it was a baptisum of fire but if you diconect the front diff and take off the anty roll bar its a peace of p## well im home now and coverd in black greace all my clothes are coverd in black grease But i am as happy as a pig in poo All this in one day TODAY YEP ONE DAY and i am in syncro heaven :ok :P :rofl :D :) 8) :ok
