Key Codes

Post by andyspanners.21 »

Hi
Does anyone know if the number stamped on the tang of the boot lock of my 1983 DF is its Key code number and if so can anyone supply keys still. Unfortunatly my van came without a tailgate key and the ignition one dont fit.
I do know a local guy who will cut me a key from the barrel But thats gona cost me £42 by the time the vat man has his share.

Cheers

Is it a four digit number with an "n" at the beginning. If yes then that will be the key code. One of our members is offering to cut keys for members very cheaply. But you need to become a proper member to access the members only forum. To see his thread.Fill this in.And once processed you will get to see the thread..http://www.club80-90.co.uk/pages/membershipform.html ...

I think you are just registered on the forum there is club membership too which gives you access to the members forum. You have to swear an oath of allegiance while smothered in gearbox oil under a full moon... nah just send the form off and Mocki will get round to it. your username is black, it will become blue when a member. no point in posting the link as it would not work til your a member.
