Sourcing Hightops ... T25 1986

Post by Trilobyte_simon »

Hello all,

I am strongly considering replacing my knackered pop-top with a HIGHTOP.

[ I need a more permanent sleeping space for the 2 kids, and perhaps a little more storage space ].

1. Where can i source a (new) Hightop (& get fitted)?
[I know of Timbertechnicians) - any other recommendations please]?

Ideally i would like a Hightop with a rear luggage rack and windows that open!! I travel a lot in Portugal and Spain - and it gets HOT!

2. How difficult would it be to fit an opening motorhome window to an existing High top? Can it be done without taking the Hightop off? What about a sun roof? What are the problems or any disadvantages to doing this?

Me & my family love the freedom of the camper - but i am not mechanical in any shape or form, and need advice from kind folk here.

THANKS, Simon
