New Interior - Need boards cutting

Post by mattrsa »

Hi Guys

I have purchased some light weight ply wood from morland to make my new interior out of and I am not 100% at cutting everything to the right size with the table saw which I have(it is a cheap lidl type thing) and when i have made the frame work I have struggled to cut completely straight with it and dont want to mess these boards up as they cost £100 a piece

I have looked around and there does not seem to be anyone local to me but know that b & q have a cutting service for board when you purchased from them. Does anyone know if you can take you own stuff in to be cut to size?

If not what do people think is my best option?

Check phone book for a local cabinet maker.

Or ask here: http://www.woodworkuk.co.uk/forum/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I'd do it, but I'm a bit far away...

thanks for the reply guys. I will have a look at those links which you suggested.

I want to have a go myself but i really don't want to turn £250 worth of wood into scrap. :D
