vacuum pipe 1600 CT

Hi all,

I'm puzzled as to what this second vacuum pipe from the carb is for. As you can see from the pic the vacuum advance is connected to the disributor and the van runs fine. But the circled brown line has always been disconnected and I've wondered where it should be!

Are there 2 lots of 2 metal pipe outlets, or only one block of 2??

Here are some pics with the airbox. There looks like what could be a pipe (circled 2nd picture). Is that where it should go?
