ok problems with headlights,side beam ok but as soon as i turn on mainbeam indicators come on(not flashing)no front light at all ,any ideas,got to be short somewhere

not short just a bad earth

Look at the two earth crowns above the fuse box on the nearside. Chances are there will be several corroded spade connectors that will need cleaning or replacing, same for the earth crown itself.

ithe spade connector on the earth was goosed,replaced the spade and hey presto lights thanks everybody
