T25 Devon Moonraker Roof Removal

Post by T25stu »

Hi all,

My first ever T25 after 6 Bay windows......................

I've (yesterday) purchased a 1980 A/C Devon Moonraker which need loads of work, amonsgt other things, I will give it a total re-spray. To do this properly I want to remove the pop top. I can see that there are pop rivets on the inside, and three hinges. But the outer lip seems to have a million pop rivets, does this hold it to the roof aswell?

Any advise would be welcomed before I go and break something as per usual!!
