1.9DG T25 Intermittent misfire
Anybody got any ideas? Went camping for a few days last week. Ran 120miles down A1to campsite absolutely fine, "Ada" my T25 never missed a beat. We pitched up and next day drove a further 80miles to London to visit our sons. But after a couple of miles the engine would hesitate/stutter in lower gears on accelleration and even in higher gears (5th) it felt as though it was on 3 cylinders not 4. Managed to get to our sons and parked up for several hours. Dreading the 80 mile return journey to the campsite, i was amazed that the fault had "cured" itself. The following day we drove back home another 120 miles and again she never missed a beat. Any clues?

I would suspect plug leads first thats what caused a missfire on mine under load a couple of years ago.

thanks for that . It had new plugs and leads about a year ago, wouldn't they be expected to last longer than that.
