Power Steering Pump overhaul kit

Hi,

Just returned to the forum after a long absence!
I guess this question has probably been asked before - I have checked WIKI but there was nothing there.
Is there an overhaul kit available for the power steering pump fitted to my 1990 Westy. The pump works fine but is making undue noise in operation.
If so where is it obtainable from?

there was a service kit, nla from VW, maybe available from classic, but Brickwerks haven't got them on web shop
026 198 049 A is the part number

I'm selling a diesel one, which was working perfectly before engine removed. Might be some use to you?

Bearing noise or groaning?
Rack groaning too?

Fit a new filter in the bottom of the resevoir and change the oil...

Hi,

It's more like a groaning from the pump. The garage removed the pump and cleaned it just a few weeks ago when they fixed the power steering.
There is no sound coming from the rack.
