the "onion" bracket thats bolted to the box is on the correct face?? (someone just check please coz with beer induced brain fade and the truck 700 miles west of me I cant go look to see   ) as if its not, it will prevent the gear from going in propper..

Worn or loose joints dont help either...

Thanks. Aiden was very helpful today. just a quick question - should the onion bracket be to the front of the face (i.e.closer to the front of the van) or behind the face?

yes all sorted under warranty, the replacement used 5th gear I had fitted was not quite up to spec and there were also some minor linkage issues which didn't help; fortunately I found I had one change gear of the correct ratio in the orphan gears drawer and that was OK, sorted. :ok

Yup. Aiden did a fantastic job and stripped the gearbox down again to fix the gear. More importantly he traveled down from Warrington to Luton to take the gearbox out - back to Warrington to rebuild and then back to Luton the following week to refit.

Now thats what i call a warranty!!

thanks Aiden - Brilliant job - Brilliant service!!

Mine does the same, though it's a bit better now i've shortened the shift linkage a little bit.
