just done my panel van, 9mm ply on walls,12mm ply floor.
got 8 mtrs of lining carpet on flea bay for £80 incuding 8 cans of heat resistant spray glue.
took me an afternoon to ply it and most of today to carpet it all :ok
its nice to stand back and say `i did that` :lol:
a complete new interior for about £150 :ok
go for it!!

a handy tip is to use a sharp pair of scissors where you can. gives a nice edge and you dont end up using 2000000000000 stanley baldes. On that note, get a knife that has quick release blades as well. cause you will be changing them alot!!!! :D

Ouch, not exactly cheap... have a word with a local cabinet maker, preferably bring him/her the van, should be able to get something done for less (particularly if they can use offcuts and you're not in a rush) and better suited to boot.


I'm not sure if I should say exactly what a door costs to produce, but the markup on the site you linked was rather large...


I'm hoping to be able to offer replacement van interiors (new or copies of standard conversions), but it'll be a while yet and I need some examples to measure first.
