Hi could you tell me what engine this is, mine looks identical but does not have the circular thing the opposite end of the oil cap. What ever that is, mine just has a pipe into top of the engine. Been trying to find out what engine i actually have fitted, i know its a 1.9 diesel and thats it

Also my dip stick is in the oil filler cap behind the flip down cover where number plate is. Seems to be alot of bodged engine bays about

same here....think its a 1Y engine ..who knows what car it came out off!
