sliding door, all peculiar
Here,s hoping some of you guys can help me with a problem, The sliding door on my van shuts, and locks ok,,, However the problem seems to be that when the door is shut it does,nt seem the line up with the rear panel behind it, more often than not when i close the slider the rear of it seems to sit in further than it should and the gap around the door seems larger at the back than the front (if that makes sense), it seems to go into far leaving it looking a bit odd, and sometimes it sticks out at the rear, i,m only talking about prob 3mm. is there some sort of adjustment so that i can get the door lining up when it is shut. Thanks

yes the door can be adjusted the pin on the rear edge of the door can be moved and the U shaped tube that the middle runner sits on can be moved too (three screw on door from memory?). Its a two man job really and its a ball ache getting it just right. If its not leaking you may have wished you had left it. Aidan helped me with mine and we were at it for at least an hour, all I'd suggest is mark up the positions where they bits are know in case you have to put them back.

You can make adjustments at the front too. The top roller/guide can be loosened and the door pushed in or out and the same on the bottom bracket

This maybe where the problem lies, because the top roller broke on me about 18 months ago now and i replaced the bearing/wheel, maybe thats where i need to adjust, i,m not to sure how to go about it or what i actually adjust, what am i looking for to adjust up? sometimes i think i am a bit simples

Top one on mine is a nylon glide block held on with a bolt. Undo the bolt and the door can be pushed in or out about 1.5 inches. It's obvious when you look at it, adjust then tighten the bolt

Mine has a fair sized gap bottom of rear edge. Can't see any way of adjusting that specifically.
