vw t25 fuel cap panel
hi i have just seen a t25 that i like and there is alot of rust around the fuel cap panel.what is this panel called and where do i get one?would this be an expensive job to do.sorry if this has been asked before as i havbe been all over the forum and carnt seem to find anything,cheers dave

Be aware that these aftermarket panels are reported to be ill fitting and thin

That goes the same for any after market panels, not this supplier alone! I weld up all sorts of cars and all after market panels need some fettling to get to fit right!

It all depends on whats lurking behind the arch. B post etc could also be corroded that may not show up until you start removing bits. As has been said above the repair panels arnt brilliant and do require a bit of work to get them right and they are thin. But unless you can get a good bodycut thats it really. Pics would help.

Oh and there is no need to use full panels if you can get away with it. It seems harder to sometimes fit a full panel than cut the bits off you need and weld them in.
