Hi all
I wonder if you could help us with a couple of Trooper specific problems please. Firstly does anybody out there have a user manual for a 1989 Autosleeper Trooper? We've searched high and low but to no avail. We're aware that there is one for the Trident on this website and that the two models are very similar but we'd just like to get the right manual to use and to keep with vehicle if at all possible. Secondly, how can we easily determine if our 89 Trooper charges the leisure battery when hooked up to the mains? It came to us with leisure battery system and heater which I think were optional and looking at (Trident) wiring diagram the mains charging system was optional too? Can any one point us in the right direction please.
Regards
Richard & Paula

Re: Autosleeper Trooper help
Cant help withe the manuel, but if you stick a voltmeter on the battery and compare the readings with the mains on and off, you should be able to tell if the battery is charging or not.
A charging battery will have greater than 13v accross it.

Hi Tonytech
Thanks for that, just the sort solution we were after, will check it out at next pre-trip hook-up. Looks like the quest for the holy grail (Trooper Manual) goes on though

Re: Autosleeper Trooper help
Hi Richard,
Did you ever find the manual you were looking for? I've recently purchased a 1991 Trooper and there was a printed out version (was a pdf but can't trace source) in all the documentation. I have just scanned this to PDF and is available if you are still looking.
Cheers,
Nathan
