no reverse lights

my reverse lights are not working ive changed bulbs checked wires and cant see anything wrong.i need to locate the reverse light switch but it isnt in my manual,i have a t25 82/84 any help would be appreciated....xxx

The switch is on the left side of the gearbox.

Befor you take the switch off and order your self a new one form JK or GSF. It might be the spade connectors the first time it happend to me I just squeezed them together a bit. The second time I replaced them. Hope this helps.

just before you panic if you cant get um to work there not needed for MoT!

beaware that the reversing lights are neg switched,
Brickwerks no longer do the spade connector switches, but do still do the alternative ones.

find the switch on the side of the gearbox, just below the slave cylinder, and gently remove the spade connections and connect them together , if the reversing lights come on, its the switch ( or dirty loose connections) be very carefull removing the spades from the switch, as if they are corroded on, you may break the switch.
