overnight near gloucester

Hey everyone,

We are off to Beautiful days festival in exeter in august, we'll be travelling down from hull (longest trip we've done so far...) and we'd like an overnight somewhere near gloucester so we've only got a couple of hours to do in the morning. anyone know of any free stops off the M5??? don't really want to pay £17 for a site if we are only there a few hours!
