Camping around Berlin....

Hi, anyone know of a site around Berlin, planning on going there some time next year, also after cheap ferry prices. Been down the South coast in our Komet, a top site for you to give a go Hook Farm at Uplyme, jusgt outside Lyme Regis, lovely terraced pitches and nice people to boot.

Go to google maps and enter camping near Berlin and you'll find at least 10 in and around the city.

Something else which is going on South of Berlin in August which you might like to fit around your trip. A brilliant event. It has a sprint track & off road circuit, very relaxed event - it is very good for camping as well!

We will have a few of our Crew going again this year & many of our German friends, who go to this event pay us a return visit in September.

Camping in the heart of Berlin

Tentstation is the only campsite in the centre of Berlin. Surrounded by mother nature, yet astonishingly we can be found a mere 5 minutes walk from Berlin's Central Station "Hauptbahnhof" - This is real urban camping. Tentstation is situated on the premises of a closed-down outdoor swimming pool in the Mitte/Tiergarten districts of Berlin. The old pools and high-diving towers create an unique atmosphere. Playing beach volleyball in the pool, relaxing while watching movies projected onto a big screen or light a barbecue with the view of the television tower peering over the trees in the distance. These are only a few of the possibilities available for our guests from all over the world.

Tentstation is for tents only. Season starts on April 21st 2011. During the months of May, June and September caravans and mobile homes are most cordially welcome in our parking lot.

Also native Berliners are welcome to our bar, located upon a tribune.
