Where to find...??

Post by futbus »

I am currently in the middle of a 1.9td conversion and in need of a few bits. The exhaust bracket for a td exhaust which the two rubber mounts bolt to on the manifold side which bolts to the back box, the support bracket for the turbo and I also need a set of bolts which bolt the turbo to the manifold.

Has anyone got any that they could sell me or tell me who may sell them, all the usual people like gsf dont list them.

Hi Dave,

I've definitely got one of the turbo support brackets in the workshop here - easily spotted as it's 'orrible and oily.

The bracket for the exhaust is part number 068 251 353, probably VAG only

Sadly I think the turbo bolts are VAG only and *ouch* expensive. You'll need two off 068 145 800 B and two off 068 145 800 C. All those I've come across recently have been non-standard ones and have generally snapped rather than yield
