IS THIS A SPLIT CHARGE RELAY SYSTEM?!

Colin Thanks - I was going on the advice above, but I had been having the same nagging thought about only actuating the relays off the alternator, so its only working with the engine running - I couldnt see how the LB would be isolated from the SB when firing up otherwise.

I shall leave my setup as is and just replace the VR in the alternator - which fits in with my time available prior to france much better!

you misunderstood me, i wasonly talking about the fridge, not the LB charging.

the fridge shouldnt be connected to the leisure battery at all.
else the fridge only gets third hand power, and the leisure battery never charges.

Mine is through the battery Steve..
I guess that's how Autosleeper fitted them, triggered by the ignition switch

the fact remains the fridge should not be wired to the leisure battery...... it should run from the main battery.
