Hallo all,
I'm turning to the wisdom of the people on this forum again.
I'm thinkering of improving my brakes all round, including ventilated discs at the front, and t4 or sharan discs at the rear
(epytec germany have the conversion kits).
The question is : what is the diameter of south africa ventilated discs for the front axle .
Seem easier to convert tho that, than to audi a6 which will push my front wheels further out for 6 mm per side.
I'm driving around on 7j16 projektzwo ronals with et 23, and the wheels are as much out as I want them to be.
Sorry for the grammar, and thanks for all your help.

Re: disc brakes
Milan, hi I don't know the sizes but you will find difficulty in obtaining parts for the SA setup in europe
Syncropaddy on here did have a set which was for sale, I don't know if he still does, he doesn't read much except syncro though so you may have to post on there to get his attention
also Silverbullet has recently brough a Sharan disc coversion kit for the rear to market so may be worth contacting him for parts for that, again he posts on syncro mostly but I know he has PC Problems at the moment so only posts during the day when he has 5 mins at work

Re: disc brakes
ian's set up uses the first generation sharan caliper and disk and pad. it works very well, i have been using it for a few months now, he can sell you the caliper carrier, hand break cables and the fixings, you will need to contact him reggarding the cost. you will also need to source the disks, callipers (lucas 34 used on fords seat's and vw's) and the pads. your hubs will also need to be machined down to fit inside the disk, and you will need slightly longer wheel studs.
