yeh thats the problem with old vw's - people always mess about with them and change things!
I did check my engine code when I was looking for a new distributor - My engine code is DG 154458, hence why i changed over to the correct dizzy 025 905 205/AE from the wrong dizzy 071 905 205 (for a CU 2.0 engine)
